You don’t want to end up wearing a black dress in the shower, or even worse, wearing the same outfit twice.
But the problem is more common than you might think, according to a study published in the Journal of Occupational Health and Safety.
In a survey of 7,000 workers, researchers at the University of Wisconsin found that up to one in 10 of them had experienced a wardrobe malfunctions during the course of their jobs.
They were most commonly caused by the use of clothes that are too short or too long, they were worn by people with a higher body mass index (BMI) and the amount of clothing worn was more than double the average.
The study found that workers were most likely to report wardrobe malfeasance when they were wearing clothing that had been altered to look different from their body type.
This is a common problem for men and women, as people who have a body type with large hips or hips that are wider than the waist have a tendency to have larger bodies.
If you want to know why, just imagine wearing a white t-shirt with a big black band around the collar.
You can probably tell that the people who had been wearing clothing like this were wearing them to try and look ‘proper’.
But the researchers were also surprised to find that the majority of the people they interviewed reported that they felt uncomfortable when they had to change clothes because of the problems.
“People who were wearing such clothes felt uncomfortable because they had made a mistake, and the clothes themselves had become an annoyance,” said Dr David Zaslavsky, lead author of the study.
“We also noticed that many of those who reported wardrobe malfays also reported having been in situations in which the clothes had been a source of annoyance or discomfort.
This was especially true of those wearing tight-fitting shirts and trousers.”
If your wardrobe malfay is not being solved by changing the clothes you are wearing, there are other ways to avoid having a wardrobe problem.
Dr Zasavsky said that it was important to be careful with how you dress in order to make sure that it doesn’t lead to a wardrobe failure.
“It’s important to dress in a way that will keep the wardrobe in good shape,” he said.
“You should always try to wear clothes that make you feel comfortable.”
