Reddit users are sharing a link to a Capsule wristwear malfunction subreddit post with a link that opens in a new tab.
A post on Capsulewristwearmisfunction.com shows a screenshot of a link from Capsule, which appears to show a link labeled “capule wristwatch malfunction”.
The Reddit post has a link, “Capule wrist watch malfunction”, which appears on the screen, and it also states: “Capules, a brand of the popular underwear brand J-Pop stars, has released a new wristband with a screw-in clasp that malfunctiones.”
The user posted a screenshot on the Capsule thread on Wednesday.
“capsule wristband malfunction,” the post reads.
“capules, capules, why?”
Another user, “kangaroo_kangar,” shared the post, which shows a Capsules “capulet” wristband.
The user, Kangaroo, added the screenshot on Reddit.
Kangaroo added: “cap-ulet is a popular brand that has a screw in clasp.”
Kangaroo added that the thread has been taken down, but the Capsules company is still promoting the brand.
“Capule is not the first brand to release a screw on clasp wristband, it’s the first to release the cap-ulet brand,” Kangaroo wrote.
“The Capule brand is known for its high quality materials and is a great choice for any wearer.”
The Capsule company has not responded to a request for comment on the posts.
A Capsule spokesperson told The Washington Post that the company is investigating the issue.
“Our team is working on the issue, but we want to emphasize that we have zero tolerance for anything like this happening,” the spokesperson said.
