4FourTwo, the leading fashion online retailer, is launching its own collection of smart home gadgets, including a smart watch that can be paired with the Wink Hub, which has already been adopted by more than 1 billion people.
The company also plans to sell the Wink and its companion smartwatch, the Nest Learning Thermostat, through the likes of Amazon, Walmart and more.
There are other smart home accessories that can also be paired to the Wink, such as a smart thermostat and a thermostatic air conditioner.
Although the Wink is already supported by the likes, Google and Microsoft, Amazon announced last week that it would begin shipping its smartwatch to retailers on March 5.
“We’re excited to introduce our newest and greatest, the Wink,” Amazon said in a statement.
“Wink can connect to all the devices you use to monitor your home, such the thermostats, smart home appliances, smart cameras and even your smart phone.
It even integrates with Alexa, so you can easily connect to your smart home through Alexa.”
The Wink will work with Amazon Alexa to stream content to the watch, allowing users to search for and find the latest news, photos, weather, sports, and entertainment.
Amazon also has a partnership with Ikea that allows customers to rent out their Ikea furniture through the Wink’s connected app.
While many smart home devices will likely work with the Apple Watch or Google Home, it’s unclear if the Wink will ever be as powerful as a traditional smart home hub.
A recent article in TechCrunch revealed that the Wink was not being tested by Apple.
The Wink is expected to arrive later this year, but the company will be launching a beta program to test the Wink in March.
It’s unclear how long the Wink can be used as a hub for connected devices.
It is not yet clear if the watch and thermostater will be paired for long-term use.
In addition to the smart watch, the company also is introducing a smart home light that works with the Echo, which allows users to control light bulbs from the Wink.
As for the thertoid, it is expected that the company is also developing a thertofactory, which is capable of making the Wink thermostator, thermostatically controlled lighting and a temperature sensor.
The company’s website does not indicate how much the Wink cost, but a retailer listing for the product suggested that it will cost between $399 and $499.
