By Simon Hunter and Mark RylanceWWE’s weekly TV show, “Monday Night RAW,” has been around since its inception in 2009, and fans have been waiting to see how its new-look “Prime” wardrobe will fare this year.
The company’s main focus this year is the addition of a new signature style, one that will take cues from the “Raw” characters that have come before it, but will also be a nod to the WWE’s legacy.
“Prime” is also a look that is being developed to make use of the brand’s “unique” look, with elements like an oversized belt and matching pants worn underneath the traditional “Raw”-style tights.
In an interview with the Associated Press, WWE chief creative officer Kevin Nash revealed some of the details behind the “Prime”-inspired look.
He said the new “Prime”‘s primary design goal is to be as “modern and modern as possible,” with “a look that’s not very ‘Raw-like.'”
“It has a lot of things in it, and we want it to look like something that you could wear in the ring and in the house,” he said.
Nash also said the prime wardrobe will include a number of elements that have been used by WWE wrestlers throughout their careers, but are new for the show.
“We have a couple of unique pieces in there, a lot more stuff that is from the past than anything that has come before,” Nash said.
“That is something that I think will be very interesting to see as we get through this season.”
“The new Prime” will be a major change from previous seasons, which have included a number different pieces, with the most recent being the classic “Prime’ tights and the signature bow tie, a move that made the show a hit in 2012.”
We also have a few things that are very similar to ‘Raw’ that will be used in the prime, but with some elements from the future that we think are unique.”
“The new Prime” will be a major change from previous seasons, which have included a number different pieces, with the most recent being the classic “Prime’ tights and the signature bow tie, a move that made the show a hit in 2012.
But this season will see the brand change things up even further.
While the current “Prime,” with its ties, bow tie and the traditional shirt, has been the staple of WWE’s wardrobe for years, this year, Nash said it will be “in a completely different place.””
This is going to be the first time that we will be taking the traditional ‘Prime’ look and the classic ‘Prime'” back to its roots,” he told the AP.
“The current Prime is very much a classic, and I think the new prime is going be more of an interesting look, a new look that we feel is going have a lot to do with the future of the WWE.”
Nash, who also said that the new look will include new “tags” to differentiate the wardrobe, said there will be some surprises in store for the fans.
For example, he teased that he would introduce a “Prime tag,” which will feature a signature belt with the word “Prime.”
“We want to make sure that this tag is really unique, and it is going a little bit further than what we have done before, so it is not something that we’ve been doing in the past,” Nash told the Associated News.
That tag will also feature a “new signature design,” Nash explained, which will be based on the WWE logo.
The new tag will not feature a title on it, as previous tags have.
Instead, it will feature the words “Prime”, “tags prime,” “tag,” “tags,” and “tags premier.”
“Prime is going in a different direction this year,” Nash revealed.
“It is a very ‘Prime’-like look.
It’s more ‘Raw’-like, but more modern, and there will also some elements of the old ‘Prime.'”
We wanted to make it very distinct, so there are some things that have changed with this look.
But it’s going to feel very similar in terms of the way the tags will look, and the new tags will also look very different, so that’s something that is really going to make you think about it and see if it is something you want to wear, or if you want it gone.
